应用 for Graduation

Degrees are conferred in 五月, 8月, 12月. However, 毕业典礼 ceremonies are held only in 五月 and 12月. 参与 毕业典礼 is not required but it is encouraged as a memorable part of the University experience.

指令

学生 who expect to complete a graduate degree during the current academic semester must complete an application for graduation. The graduation application can be found within your MyISU门户 under the "Student Records" link, which is located in the "Student Self-Service Badge." The application must be submitted by the following deadlines:

  • 10月3日 for Fall graduates
  • 3月3日 for Spring graduates
  • 6月1日 for Summer graduates *

* Summer graduates (except doctoral students) may attend the Spring Commencement Ceremony. To appear in the Spring Commencement Booklet, Summer graduates must apply by March 1.

Only students who meet these deadlines can be assured of having their names appear in the 毕业典礼 program.

Note: If the degree is not awarded, the student must reapply to the College of 研究生 and Professional Studies to be placed in a future graduation term.

In order to qualify for a degree, a student must complete all academic program requirements and all College of 研究生 and Professional Studies requirements. 除了, the student must submit a completed program/contract of study form, which can be obtained from the student's academic department.

重要的: Candidates for the Ed.S.小组,.D.，或Ph值.D. degrees must have completed all degree requirements prior to participation in a 毕业典礼 ceremony, including successful completion of all coursework and successful defense and publication of their dissertations.
